If you have encountered difficulties receiving stipends from the Benazir Income Support Program due to issues with thumb or fingerprint verification, consider the following steps:
- Visit Another Payment Center: If you face payment issues due to fingerprint verification problems, try visiting a different payment center. Remember that you can attempt thumbprint verification up to eight times on a machine to access your funds.
- Obtain Fingerprint Verification: a. Visit your nearest Nadra office to get your fingerprints verified. b. If fingerprint verification is still not possible at the NADRA office, bring a family member with an ID card and visit your nearest BISP tehsil office. c. Lodge a complaint with the concerned officer at the tehsil office regarding the unverified fingerprints. d. The concerned officer will process your payment without fingerprint verification in your presence. e. After submitting the form, you will receive updates on your application status via a message or call from 8171 within a few days.
Instructions for Beneficiaries in Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, or Balochistan: Beneficiaries residing in Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, or Balochistan can follow these instructions to receive BISP payments without biometric verification:
- Visit the nearest branch of Habib Bank with a family member who holds the same identity card.
- After verification, the payment will be made to you.
- In case of any issues, contact your nearest Benazir Income Support Program Tehsil Office.
Instructions for Beneficiaries in KPK, Gilgit, Balochistan, or AJK:
Beneficiaries in KPK, Gilgit, Balochistan, or AJK can follow these guidelines to receive BISP payments without fingerprint verification:
- Upon receiving a notification via message or call from 8171, revisit your nearest Benazir Income Support Program office.
- A Bank Al Falah representative will enter your ID card in the bank’s system in the presence of the Assistant Director.
- After NADRA verification is completed, you will receive a code on your mobile number, and the Assistant Director will receive the second part of this code.
- The bank officer present will register these two codes in the bank’s system.
- After system verification, regular payments will be initiated through Bank Al Falah.
By following these procedures, beneficiaries in KPK, Gilgit, Balochistan, and AJK will be able to receive their Baasani payments smoothly.
