BISP New Payment: We have received new information regarding the BISP payments for August, which we are sharing with you today. This update will provide details about the upcoming payment date and the process for receiving your payment.
The government has announced that the disbursement of funds for the Benazir Kafalat program and Benazir Taleemi Wazaif will commence in August. However, an exact date for the payment distribution has not been confirmed yet. Rest assured, as soon as the government announces the specific date, we will promptly inform you.
Benazir Kafalat program
It’s worth noting that the disbursement of funds for the Benazir Kafalat program will be facilitated through an agent-based system, as the formal banking system for this purpose is not yet operational. Currently, a pilot program is underway in selected districts, aimed at opening bank accounts for beneficiaries. Once this pilot program successfully concludes, it will be rolled out nationwide.
For those wondering about checking their payment status, you can do so conveniently using your ID card. Only eligible recipients of the Benazir Income Support Program are entitled to receive payments. To verify your eligibility, the program has introduced a user-friendly web portal. By entering your ID card number on the provided web portal, you can quickly determine your eligibility status.
Benazir Income Support Program
If you haven’t yet registered for the Benazir Income Support Program, you can do so by visiting the nearest program office. It’s important to complete the NSER survey as part of the registration process. This survey assesses your socio-economic information to determine your eligibility. Please note that there is no fee associated with completing the survey, and you can become a part of the program without any payment.

Lastly, we are pleased to announce that following a high-level meeting led by Chairperson Ms. Shazia Murri, it has been decided to increase the installment amount under the Benazir Kafalat program from 8500 to 9000 rupees. This adjustment will take effect in the upcoming August payment cycle. You will receive the enhanced amount of 9000 rupees along with an official money receipt.
