To initiate the new payment model pilot, four selected districts in the country will be introduced, wherein cash assistance will be directly transferred to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts. Once the pilot demonstrates success, beneficiaries nationwide will have the opportunity to open bank accounts of their choice and receive their cash assistance through this streamlined payment method.
