Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the program, individuals must meet the following criteria:
- The poverty score must be below 20.
- Monthly income should be less than 15,000 rupees.
- No property is registered under their name.
- No family member should be a government employee.
- Applicants must possess a valid National Identity Card.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Widows and orphans are also eligible.
- Senior citizens above 60 years of age qualify.
- The applicant’s family must not hold a passport.
- The applicant and family must not have traveled by air.
Latest Update on BISP 8171
The Benazir Income Support Program has introduced quarterly installments of 9,000 rupees per family for 90 lacks (9 million) households. Those who are already registered for the program and have their children enrolled in the Benazir educational scholarships will also receive two-quarters of their stipends simultaneously. The distribution of these funds will commence after August 15th.
